Na alle carpool-caches, nu nog een die nog beter voor het milieu is. Parkeergelegenheid is te vinden bij het startpunt, maar niet vlakbij de waypoints. Het best is deze multi te doen met fiets of OV.
[EN] After all those carpool caches, this one is even more environmental friendly. You can find parking space near the start location, but not very close to the waypoints. Better do this multi-cache by bike or public transport.
Sinds 1 december 1990 is de reeds eerder bestaande Amsterdamse tramlijn 5 doorgetrokken van Station Zuid naar Amstelveen Binnenhof. Op dit laatste stuk kunnen alleen tweerichtingtrams rijden, zodat speciaal voor lijn 5 dit soort trams aangeschaft werden. Sindsdien rijdt de serie 901-920 op lijn 5, in 1999 aangevuld met de uit Duisburg gehuurde GT10NC-DU 997-999. Deze waren nodig vanwege toename van het vervoer, waarvoor vanaf 2002 ter vervanging hiervan de Combino's 2201-2204 beschikbaar kwamen.
Recent zijn alle Amstelveense tussenhaltes voorzien van overdekte fietsenstallingen. Behalve voor het stallen van je fiets bij een overstap naar de tram, is dit ook handig om droog een cache te loggen (zie AEFOVC en ATFOVC).
Bij deze cache zul je alleen je fiets er droog kunnen stallen, want het laatste stuk zal echt te voet gaan. Breng stevige schoenen mee.

Since December 1st, 1990 the earlier existing Amsterdam tram 5 was extended from Station Zuid to Amstelveen Binnenhof.
Recently all tram stops in Amstelveen have been given covered bike sheds. Except for storing your bike, when you want to switch to the tram, they are also nice to log a cache dryly (see AEFOVC and ATFOVC).
With this cache you only can store your bike dryly, because the very last part will be on foot. Bring outdoor shoes!
