Hidden Paths – A series of 7 caches of varying types and sizes and difficulties. Some are large enough to receive trades, coins and travel bugs, the rest are of the small 35mm film pot type container so you will need to provide your own pen or pencil for signing the logs. The trail is just under 3 miles long starting near Langley Mill then crosses over the M6 Toll, the A38 and the A446 Lichfield Rd before entering the peace and tranquillity of the New Park Wood. Be warned to complete the series involves crossing the very busy A446 Lichfield Rd, please take extreme care when crossing here especially if you have geokids or geohounds with you. The walk has a variety of different types of path starting with metalled roads suitable for pushchairs and wheelchair users. After the second cache the path soon changes to rough ploughed fields, grassy fields and woodland paths, all of which can become very muddy therefore good boots or wellingtons are highly recommended. Suitable free unlimited parking can be found at N52. 33.938 W001 46.658 but please keep local residents in mind when parking. Do not attempt to park on the road next to the caches, as the signs states "No unauthorised vehicles". Happy Caching.
