The Acrophobic's Quandary - Hevingham Heights Traditional Cache
joingtonanddomus: Unfortunately we have decided to archive all of our Norwich Caches. This is because we are moving away from the area and can no longer look after the caches as we should. Thank you to all those who came to find this cache!

This series of caches were created through our love of climbing. Here in Norwich we feel there is a distinct lack of caches that require climbing to be found, and we have decided it is our mission to put an end to this monstrosity! Do not attempt these caches unless you feel confident enough with your climbing skills. It may also be a good idea to have someone with you who can help you down in case you get in a spot of trouble!
Lead Climbing
Lead Climbing is a type of climbing in where the climber uses quickdraws to clip onto permanment bolts in the rock or wall, and so clips the rope into each quickdraw as she or he climbs up. A quickdraw is normally two caribiners attached on each end of a piece of webbing. One caribiner holds the rope and the other caribiner clips into the fixed bolts in the rock or wall. These types of carabiners never lock, and so makes it easy to clip into the bolts. Quickdraws may be attached to the gear loops on the waist of one's harness while climbing.
Congratulations to Team~H.N.H who braved the freezing weather and received FTF!
