Having narrowly escaped the goblins of the Misty Mountains, you and the company make your way down the edge of the mountain, heading for the forest below.
Feeling relatively safe once inside the edge of the forest, you set up camp. Shortly thereafter, the company is attacked by roaming Wargs, large wolf-like beasts that are in cahoots with the goblins.

The only form of immediate escape you see are the nearby pine trees, and you, Gandalf, and each of the dwarves scramble up the trees as best you can. The wargs cannot climb, thankfully, and they're not the sharpest tools in the shed, so it's relatively easy to stay out of reach. But what to do now?
Gandalf decides to make use of the many projectiles at hand, namely pine cones, and adding a little bit of his magical touch in the form of fireworks, he sets each pine cone ablaze before hurling them at the wargs. This is remarkably effective, and soon all the wargs are running around yelping and trying to extinquish themselves, but in the process are setting the entire forest ablaze at your feet.
It isn't long before the goblins get wind of all the racket and come to investigate. Finding a bunch of dwarves along with a wizard and a hobbit hanging out in the trees was a bit comical to them, so they had fun gathering the burning debris on the forest floor and building it up underneath your trees.

Just when it was almost too much to bear, the Eagles, under direction from their fearless lord "Andy", swoop in to rescue you and the company. Don't forget to grab the cache nearby before being whisked out of the tree!
The Eagles fly you off to their eyries, but just before arriving, they see a strange white line on the ground and go to investigate. It's made of a powdery substance, and after much debate, they all decide that this line represents the goal line. They decide that this poses little danger to them, as their chances of ever encountering it again are slim to none...
Ouch...
