The first (or last depending on your direction) of a scenic geoadventure backroads loop around Salt Springs Reservoir.
This cache involves a fun drive on a little-known foothills backroad. To the west is a great view of the Central Valley. To the northeast, up and over the hill is an old gold rush stamp mill. (about 500 ft up the hill) The first of a four cache geoadventure loop around salt springs res loop. No services out here, bring gas, refreshments and snacks.....enjoy.
