Six Mile Hill Road #11 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

glazedglasses: It is time. We had a lot of fun hiding this little mini-series of caches, but yes, it is time to now archive them. We haven't been able or had the time to maintain them like we should, and that is a big factor as to why we are archiving them. It's not fair to have cachers drive all the way out to try to find them if the caches are missing or not in good condition. We made a day...President's Day...of it, going out and collecting all of the containers. We invited the Mountain Jewels Ranchers to help us find and retrieve them, and they were able to hang in there to find about 18 of them. THAT was a lot of fun! The sky was beautifully blue, but there was a brisk and chilly breeze off and on. Indeed, only one container was missing. Sigh...there were several of the hides that were really pretty fun, but now the road out to the end of Six Mile Hill and Beyond Six Miles will be open for other cachers to hide some caches. Thanks to everyone that found our hides!

Geocache Description:

There are two ponds in this area that are twins to the Twin Ponds farther south.  Sometimes the ponds are full of water, and at other times they are dry as a bone.  It's obvious that critters use these "water holes" to quench their thirst.  The other pair of glasses helped to build the fence here.  We hope you have fun making the find on this one.  If you don't find it right away, don't give up.  It truly is there.

Congratulations to S.A.R.29 for FTF!
