Bay Views This cache is placed near the start of the Coobowie to Edithburgh Walking Trail
A nice easy walk along the coast between these two seaside towns
From the hide you can look out across the Bay at Coobowie towards what remains of the old rock and timber Jetty ,in the distance you can see the Silos at Port Giles .
We have walked this trail many times when visiting the area with our parents
Our Father grew up here and tells the story of the time when the only way to go between the two towns was across the old causeway which is about 350 metres further down the trail on the right .
The trail also takes you passed the lovely old Edithburgh Cemetery
Take the time to walk over and see the "Clan Reynold Historical Grave Sites "
If you have the time check out the other caches we have placed in the area that may give you a little more insight into the life of a country boy growing up in the 1930's
When retrieving cache please be careful as area close to ground zero may be slippery
