This is another cache for the Bass Coast Rail Trail series. It is the only coastal rail trail in Victoria and is very well used by walkers and bike riders. The rail trail extends 16 kms from Anderson to Wonthaggi. This trail is well know for the trestle bridge that is at Kilcunda. In the warmer months please keep and eye out for snakes along the trail.There are several access points for parking along the rail trail.The Anderson round-about, Mitchell mine area kilcunda, Kilcunda near trestle bridge, Powlett River road, Station Street Dalyston and Daly street Dalyston, Lower Powlett road Wonthaggi and South Dudley road in Wonthaggi.
This cache is in memory of Rail Trail-Little Bridge that has been removed from the Rail Trail along with the cache that was attached to it. The cache is small with log book and a pencil there is not really any room for swaps in this one. We hope you enjoy the experience.
