Stunning scenery for this cache, in the Tholt-Y-Will plantation and in view of Snaefell, the island's highest peak, this is a picturesue walk, particularly on the return journey.
Corrody1 can be approached from two routes, but the best experience will be gained by parking at the Sulby Reservoir car park and crossing the dam to reach the plantation on the other side. The walk takes you up past the tornado-damaged area where re-planting has now taken place and up towards the Druidale road. Terrain is a mostly gentle climb on stony track, but the first part is very wet and slippery if there has been alot of rain. Driving directions take you to the Druidale Road end where there is no parking, and although closer to the cache, will not give the geocacher much of an experience. The intention when the cache was hidden was that the Sulby Reservoir Car Park was the starting point.
