I wanted to place some caches involving two things that I enjoy doing outdoors – mountain biking and Geocaching.
This cache was placed along the Forest City Mountain Bike Trail in St. James. This trail was built by volunteers and Route 66 bike shop. You can ride the trail either clockwise or counter clockwise. Trails are well tended with little or no debris. A portion of the trail is smooth woods riding, but more than half of the trail is rocky to keep it interesting. There are three bypasses off the intermediate trail for advance riders. Overall, a nice long trail with lots of climbing and some technical aspects.
Please be respectful of other riders and hikers that you may see while out searching for the cache. If you decide to locate this cache on your mountain bike, please wear appropriate protective gear.
The best way to access this cache is to take the west trail entrance unless you are completing the series in order by following the bike trail.
Light bushwhacking may be required to locate this cache as it is just off the road.
Congratulations to 16June84 for being FTF!
