I have driven by this spot many times, always on the Interstate. I have wanted to put a cache here to bring people to see these banners.
They look great from the Interstate, but what a view from below.
There is a small area that can be used for parking, but driving along the silos is not allowed or possible. Bicycles should be able to get through just fine.
There are no No Trespassing signs, except for those telling people to stay out of the buildings.
There is a well worn trail along the silos. The old rail bed is nice and flat and if a wheelchair could get past the gate, it would be navigable by a wheelchair by motor or strong arms. I wish I could remember now if a gap exists for a bike or wheelchair. There is no paved trail here, however, so grass and dirt are a factor. The last 10-20 feet will be very difficult for a wheelchair to navigate, due to weeds and slightly difficult terrain.
There seem to be a lot of muggles that use this trail. Please do NOT search for this cache if there are any muggles to be seen. Also, please do not search for this cache where there is snow on the ground. Your footprints will lead the plethora of muggles to the hiding spot.
The area is very well lit, but I advise that you do not try this cache at night. You will likely get attention from the neighbors which will likely get you attention from Omaha's Finest! You will also likey not want to tangle with the local "artists" adding their touches to the silo either.
