Geocache Description:

A misc. container that is on the small size.

The cache is not at the posted coordinates. You must do some simple math to find the final coordinates.

Will accept most travel bugs. Close to the trailhead, parking and near a nice pond. Could be easier in the winter.

To solve for the Final Location
Go to the Wikipedia Page for "Red giant".

HEY! They changed the page! :) (thank you FlipperFamily for the heads up!)

Locate the single digit number representing the billions of years when The Sun is to have exhausted the hydrogen fuel in its core. Add 0.4 to that number.

North Coordinates
Take the 1.139 and divide it by 2 digit number (with a decimal point)
Subtract it from the posted coordinate.

West Coordinates
Take the 1.264 and divide it by 2 digit number (with a decimal point)
Add it to the posted coordinate.

Some information
As a star uses up its hydrogen by converting it to helium, its central core contracts while the outer layers expand and cool; this process produces the low temperature and large size that characterize the red giant.

Aldebaran is located about 65 light years away in the zodiac constellation of Taurus. With an average apparent magnitude of 0.87 it is the brightest star in the constellation and is one of the brightest stars in the nighttime sky.
