The cache is not at the posted coordinates. You must do some simple math to find the final coordinates.
Not too bad to get to. I parked at the waypointed parking and took the trailhead there. Just past the pond there was a clearer area that will lead right to the cache.
To solve for the Final Location
Go to the Wikipedia Page for "Black hole".
Locate the 4 digit number representing the year the idea of a body so massive that even light could not escape was first put forward.
North Coordinates
Take the 531.334 and divide it by 4 digit number
Subtract it from the posted coordinate.
West Coordinates
Take the 713.2 and divide it by 4 digit number
Subtract it from the posted coordinate.
Some information
Not a star but an important development of a star that I just had to include.
Black holes of stellar mass are expected to form when very massive stars collapse at the end of their life cycle. After a black hole has formed it can continue to grow by absorbing mass from its surroundings. By absorbing other stars and merging with other black holes, supermassive black holes of millions of solar masses may form. There is general consensus that supermassive black holes exist in the centers of most galaxies.
