Geocache Description:

The Biggest Cottonwood in Fairfield!!!

You will find this cache hidden near the Biggest (Oldest?) Cottonwood Tree in Fairfield, OH.  This tree is also now the second largest of any tree in Fairfield since they recently cut down the big Oak on Port Union Road.  And it may very well be the third largest Cottonwood Tree still standing in the State of Ohio.

You are looking for a camouflaged, medium sized container (a pretzel barrel) with a screw on lid.  It's definitely big enough for most trackables and geocoins.  It was filled with an assortment of tradeable trinkets when placed.  Please park in Tri-County Harley-Davidson's parking lot. The cache is not located on or in the tree.  Please do not harm the tree in any way.  Please return cache exactly as it was found.  Thank you.

Some Statistics about this amazing tree (as of 01/09/06):

Trunk Circumference:  220 Inches
Trunk Diameter:  70 Inches (approx.)
Height:  85 feet
Average Canopy Diameter:  70 feet
