North to Nelson!
This is it... the northbound end of the N2N series. Hopefully you have as much fun finding the caches as I had putting them out. And have lots of fun continuing north on LXGDS's S2S series!
The Great Northern Rail Trail extends from Salmo, past Nelson, and on to Troup, following the former Burlington Santa Fe rail bed. The rail bed is level (more or less), but some portions of it are better traveled than others, so the ground varies from groomed gravel to overgrown weeds. It is a great trail for walking or cycling, and in the winter, X-country skiing or snowshoeing.
