The name of Nishinakajima-Minamigata station is said that the name was the first unionized name of two place-names. When the station was established, naming candidates were Nishinakajima that was from the name of Nishinakajima village, and Minamigata that was from the name of the district “Oaza Minamigata” in Nishinakajima village. Finally, two naming candidates were unionized. The cache is located at the outside of Minamigata station of Hankyu line. Please bring your pen.
西中島南方駅の駅名は全国で初めて2つの地名を合体させたものと言われています。駅名の決定にあたっては、周辺住民からかつて存在した西成郡西中島村に由来する「西中島」と、西中島村内の大字に由来し、阪急の駅と同名である「南方」との2つの案を合体させる形で決着したそうです。なおキャッシュは阪急南方駅の外側からアプローチします。筆記具を持参ください。
