Named in honour of the bevy of Roe deer who roam the plantation on the side of Pen Hill.
A small plastic box in a camo bag. Cache is hidden close to the footpath which runs up the side of Pen Hill from the Colesbourne Inn towards Woodmancote. The summit of Pen Hill has a trig point but is some way off the marked path. The views across the Churn Valley are worth the steepish climb. Livestock (sheep and cattle) are often grazed on the hill so please keep dogs under control.
Updated March 2015
****Recent cattle activity has churned up the filed and path so be careful as it is very rutted underfoot*****
