Geocache Description:

Prior to the use of cars the Whooper (which is what the locals called the train) was the only efficient means of transportation between communities. Residents paid 10 cents per stop and the stops were approximately 1 mile apart.

There was a train stop near the “Whooper #1” cache where the railway crossed the old Route 8 Hwy (now route 108) and there was also a stop where the railway meets the pipeline (Whooper # 14) behind what used to be the Bryenton store.

The cache contains only a log so you need to bring a pen,
