Creeks, Ponds & Rivers Series = CPR
This is our first cache series, so we wanted to bring our passion for local water ways to everyone. All 7 caches in this series, if visited at the correct time of day have beautiful vista's for awesome photo's. At a couple of the caches you maybe required to take a short walk of less then 100 meters to view waters which we have kayaked over the years.
Local folks lore says that in this section of Carman Creek, around the 1930's two local boys drowned and in an attempt to save the boys from the freezing waters a neighbouring farmer also died. He died from pneumonia three day after his attempting to save the two boys. He also ended up in the freezing waters of the creek, his time in the water removing the boys, couples with his walk in sub zero weather to the nearest farm carrying the two boys, took it's toll. A sad story
The cache is a PB Jar great spot for TB's. No need to cross any fences. With heavy snow you will have to climb roadside snow banks and deep ditch snow at this one.
