FLASH MOB! Mill about, then meet promptly at 11:25 a.m. Sign log, draw for FTF, group picture at 11:35, immediate departure at 11:40. In the woods so wear boots and warm clothes! If you would like to (not mandatory, just an idea), bring a homemade seasonal ornament to swap. FTF will receive a special ornament.
My Dad would have been 93 on this day; alas, he died in 1970 just days after his 51st birthday. He was a techie-type person all of his life and was very up on all of the (then!) newest gadgets. I know he would have eagerly bought into geocaching and would have been able to instinctively teach me a lot of valuable ideas! This event is my way of bringing Dad into the game - Cache on, Dad!
Most of the Flash Mob events are held downtown at about this time and I cannot get to them and back during my 30-minute lunch break. Having this event at this location will finally enable me to attend a week-day lunchtime cache get-together!
There is ample roadside parking and also two public lots nearby that usually have open parking spaces.
