The Trevallyn Recreational Area is a great place to ride, walk or enjoy the aquatics on the nearby lake. This hut provides an ideal sheltered base for these activities.
The DaFiChNi's have rested here many times during our recreational pursuits in the region. I particularly remember munching on potato chips by the fire and sheltering from the rain on a cold, wet winter's day after being caught mid-bicycle ride by the fast changing Tassie weather.
This hut can be particularly popular for group picnics in summer and muggles may cause you some issues depending on what time of the day you visit. Conversely, there was not a soul about in the late afternoon when I placed the cache.
Please note also that the boom gates close at sunset so there is no vehicular access to the area during the darkened hours.
The cache is a magnetic eclipse tin with logbook and pencil..
