One of the many trails that can be walked and enjoyed in the Trevallyn Recreational Area.
The Trevallyn Nature Recreation Area is located on the South Esk River, Tasmania's longest river, and only four kilometres from the centre of Tasmania's second largest city, Launceston. Part of the South Esk River gorge and the adjacent plateau country are features of the 440 hectare reserve.
This trail has some fantastic views of the South Esk River as you travel along it. Also there are also a number of very high class nearby caches to keep you amused.
Please note that the boom gates close at sunset so there is no vehicular access to the GZ area during the darkened hours.
The cache is placed a little way from the start of the trail and is a regular sized container with logbook, pencil and the usual small swaps.
