A simple traditional cache within a beautiful town centre park.
Pedestrian access to the Park is from Cookham Road, St. Lukes Road, Marlow Road and from the town centre via an underpass on the A4 Bath Road.
Kidwells Park covers 3 hectares and is located between Maidenhead town centre and an area of housing. The Park is open at all times and caters for a wide range of users - residents, visitors and those working in the Town.
Kidwells Park was gifted to the town on 23 July 1890 by J.D.M. Pearce, who was the Mayor of Maidenhead five times between 1856 and 1890. The park was once the base for the Thames Valley Rugby Club, which was renamed Maidenhead Rugby Club on its move to the newly created sports ground at Braywick in the 1960s.
Over the last 5 years the Park has undergone a transformation with new and improved facilities to ensure it meets the needs of the local community.
