Ranch Top View - spectacular!
On a clear day or night, Ranch Top Road in the upper Hastings Ranch area of Pasadena provides a wonderful view of the valley. We hid this cache for you to experience the view, and if you come between mid-December and January 1 you can add to your numbers and enjoy some great holiday decorations at the same time. How 'bout that? A 3-fer! 
You're looking for a mini bison tube with room for log only. BYOP. Street parking is available, but PLEASE be aware of parking restrictions to avoid tickets - parking is strictly enforced up here. The cache is wheelchair accessible and can be accessed from the sidewalk. Please use stealth (especially at night) and be considerate of the neighbors, as the cache location is bordered on all sides by residential communities.
From mid-December through January 1, Hastings Ranch usually has drive-by light displays in the evenings. Kids LOVE the lights and animation, so mid-December is a good time to bring the whole family. Traffic can be slow and heavy during these times, so please plan accordingly and leave enough time to enjoy the creative decorations.
