Joshua Tree is an artsy-hippie like area. I love ity for that, and I hope you do too. The cache is near an odd construction. What you will be seeing is a stalled construction site for a house made out of 20 foot international shipping containers and stucco. It is really awesome looking.
Take a careful look around, find the cache, do your business (SL) and move on. Also, check out the bomb near the road. The numbers for the house are welded onto the bomb.
