A Flash-mob on The Point at Teignmouth to (hopefully) celebrate that we are all still here after the Mayan "prediction" of the end of the world.
The Mayan end of world predition seems to vary between 12 December 2012 (and you can attend Bar Sinister's 12-12-12 event at Yelverton, GC3VQZP, to commemorate that) and 21st December 2012 depending on which very accurate Internet resource you read.
Either way if we're still here on Saturday 22nd then feel free to come and join us.
If we're not, the T/D rating probably becomes 5/5.
To make sure we have that celebration feeling, please bring party hats, balloons, whistles and make lots of noise.
The flash mob will run from 1200-1215 and is only 15 minutes long. You will need to attend during this period to claim the find and if you put an attendance slip in the box to register your attendance, we'll make a draw for FTF.
The Terrain 3 rating is due to the sand at the event location. Quite how far along the spit we venture will depend on the height of the tide - it is of course a lunchtime high tide that day just to be awkward - so I've chosen co-ords close to dry land. There are both steps and slope to beach level available from The Point car park (though you may choose not to park there as it's not the cheapest in town.)
