Geocache Description:

A magnetic key safe near Loftus cemetery

This cache is wheelchair accessible. You do not have to leave the tarmac or go into the cemetery to find it. It is part of a series of 4 caches placed along the Loy Lane bridleway.

The new cemetery is quite unusual. It's full of wind chimes, bird feeders and other decorations.

This cache is also one of 10 on a 4 mile circular walk incorporating Loy Lane and South Town Lane. Each cache can be completed as individual caches and their terrain/difficulty levels are given for each as a one-off cache. The total circular walk is reasonably flat (Terrain:1.5 - 2).

Loy Lane is a pleasant (if sometimes muddy) off-road bridleway. South Town Lane is used by local traffic only. The traffic is light and the road is used by locals to walk their dogs. A footpath runs along the short section beside the A174. I have put a map showing the suggested circular walk in the photos below.

Buses: the X4 and no.5 buses stop near GC45QCW.
