The Geocache Maintenance guideline explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported. Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center

Geocache Description:

Sabkha

Sabkha is the local Gulf Arabic word for flat, salt-crusted desert. They are flat and very saline areas of sand or silt lying just above the water-table. Sabkhas can be of a coastal formation - which are created by sediments that form khors, laggons and later coastal sabkhas, or inland Sabkhas, which are formed by evaporation of the underground water, leaving it's salts and minerals on a surface. Inland sabkhas can be found throughout much of Abu Dhabi and may be up to 5.5 square kilometres in area. South of Liwa, a shallow water table has promoted sabkha formation at ~80 metres above sea level. The presence of dune sands indicates dry periods while sabkha formations indicate wetter periods or periods with higher water tables.

This cache is located in one of the inland Sabkhas of the Liwa region. It is easily accessible along the road from Liwa to a Moreeb dune. There is a side-road parking dedicated to adore a beauty of this Sabkha. You can walk on it and you can taste it's salt. Please do not destroy or crash a salt crust formations. Cache is on the first fence post.
