Geocache Description:

The cache title
For those who may NOT recognise the cache title ?,    it came from Douglas Adams 4th book in the Hitchhikers Guide series.  The book was described as the 4th book in the trilogy.

Excerpt from Wikipedia,
So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish is the fourth book of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" series written by Douglas Adams. Its title is the message left by the dolphins when they departed Planet Earth just before it was demolished to make way for a hyperspace bypass, as described in  The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. The phrase has since been adopted by some science fiction fans as a humorous way to say "goodbye".

[Note: This cache was placed by OHB just before he took off for distant lands and he asked me to look after it for him. No demolition to follow, I hope.]
My problem was that you dont see many dolphins in the Pentlands, so reluctantly I decided the cache container would NOT be a dolphin, which was also good news because the water is cold at this time of year. Note, it is not in the water, but it could have been!

So this was next best.   .... so what are you looking for ? Well there many versions of 'it' in nature, some of the lesser known ones are, Texan ...., Rocky Mountain ...., Narrow-mouthed ...., Yosemite ...., or perhaps Natterjack will give you a clue.

The direct route to the cache is in places wet and muddy. I suggest that you continue walking on the main path, round the bend then go into the trees and head for WP1, then walk up the slight path top the CZ.
This cache was placed with permission from the 'The Pentland Hills Ranger Service'. Many thanks to them for their support with regard to the placing this and the other caches in the past.
