O miejscu:
Górznieńskie pompy wodne pełniły do niedawana bardzo ważną rolę w życiu mieszkańców.
W nieodległych jeszcze czasach mieszkańcy bardzo często korzystali z wody z pomp. Dzisiaj wystarczy tylko odkręcić kurek. Wcześniej żeby się napić, umyć itd trzeba było z wiaderkiem biec do pompy.
Kiedyś tak ważne dzisiaj stoją trochę zapomniane i zaniedbane. Naliczyłem ich w Górznie 7 i 1 hydrant. Pamiętam też takie których już dzisiaj nie ma.
Najbardziej znana jest ta na Rynku. Były tak wyraziste w górznieńskim krajobrazie że żartowano iż w Górznie można zrobić za darmo dwie rzeczy... ale niech o tym opowiedzą Wam już mieszkańcy
