The park wraps around Otonga Road Primary School and is quite open. Because of the close proximity of the park to the school, it may be advisable to visit outside of school hours, or not to loiter in the area. However, none of the waypoints are within the school, you will not need to enter school grounds; just follow the arrows. From the entry, the pathway follows a line of trees and passes an obviously disused skating half-pipe, before it winds down to a bridge. From this point, the path leads back uphill, past a playground, before exiting out onto McDowell Street.
Off-road parking is available on Springfield Rd by the play centre. The park entry waypoint is on a bus route. The ideal way to approach this cache though is by walking.
