I found another cemetery in Cherokee county and this one is about 2 miles from my house. I don't know how we missed this cemetery when we initially started this series. I found one very old headstone of a man who was born in 1785 and died in 185?. There are many graves being marked that didn't have headstones, but now are being identified. Just an interesting place to investigate.
This cemetery is located just west of Welling Rd. on a dirt road. It is about 1 miles from Tahlequah.
