Geocache Description:


You are seeking a short two stage multi cache which begins in the cemetery of the Grant's Creek Baptist Church.

The posted coordinates take you to the grave of a veteran of the Spanish American War, Justin B. Turner. He served as the Quartermaster Sergeant in the Alabama Infantry. His company was known as the Warrior Guards and was comprised mainly of men from Tuscaloosa. Some that he served with included Captain Sterling Foster, 1st Lieutenant Julius Levine, 2nd Lieutenant Charles Wyman, 1st Sergeant John Battle and Sergeant Samuel Cole, all from Tuscaloosa.

To find the final stage, glean the needed information from Turner’s headstone.
