Geocache Description:


The location

Set between French and German-speaking Switzerland, between rural and industrial areas the transition from the Jura to the Mittelland is marked by contrasts.
 
The Chasseral at 1607 m altitude is one of the highest summits in the Swiss Jura. It lies on the southernmost chain and dominates the Swiss Mittelland. The regional nature park can be explored on foot, by bike or on horseback.




The cache

When hiding the cache, we identified a short term parking place which you can use in order to quickly "Park & Cache". However, if you really want to enjoy this cache and its beautifull surrounding, you can also following the hiking trail.

Make sure you carefully hide the cache back once you found it. Also please respect the environment and don't leave the marked trail.

Please note that during winter snow might cover the cache.
