A quick bridge stop on the Bruce Highway.
The Leap Bridge was constructed in 2007. It spans the main railway line out of Mackay to the north. Because of the angle the highway and the rail line meet the span is quite long for a single line rail bridge. The Leap is a small community north of Mackay. There is a pub, a shop and a gem shop nearby. The cache is a painted magnetised eclipse mint tin. Please bring your own pen.
