Geocache Description:


Wanganui river road culvet (No 141) is along a short track ( two minutes walk ) into a picturesque view of the longest of six culvets hewn by hand through papa rock during the construction of the Wanganui river road (1904 - 1934). Set in native bush, this culvet is 2 meters high and 2 meters wide and 18 meters long. Cache holds a log to record your visits and a pen, There is a bit of room if you would like to leave any small swaps.
