Geocache Description:

This cache is on the D&L Trail in Lehigh Canal Park that runs along the canal and the railroad tracks.  There are 10 total caches in the railroad series, 6 which have clues for the 10th puzzle cache.

Please collect the letter with the 4 digit train number to help solve the final cache in the series. Please keep laminated train with the cache so other cachers can solve the final. Please replace as found if not better. Thank you!

The Lehigh Valley Railroad was the first railroad in the Lehigh Valley.  It was built to compete with the Lehigh Coal and Navigation Company that transported goods through their canal along the Lehigh River. The Lehigh Valley Railroad mainly transported anthracite coal and was known as the Route of the Black Diamond, because coal was the “black diamond”.  Because of this, their logo is based inside a black diamond.
Congratulations to jpiger for the FTF!!
