This is a hike along the lower part of the Norbett Creek Track in the Kaitoke Regional Park. Note that the first part of the track is the most difficult. After the stream crossing and short climb, the track becomes much easier to negotiate so do not be deterred by what you see in the first couple of minutes.
When the cache owner placed the cache, the only sounds that could be detected were those from a small waterfall, a flowing creek and chirping birds.
The cache contains a laminated clue card. Please do not remove this from the cache or provide the information on it to cachers who did not accompany you on the cache search. Should the card be missing, the information is also handwritten at the front of the logbook.
