The Right Route (Root) Traditional Cache

A regular sized cache box with some little items for trading. 4x4 needed but can get to cache site on one of the many well used sand track routes or make your own route through the dunes. Not difficult dunes to work through but do follow all off-roading in the sand recommendations. Start out by taking Exit #50 off the Al Ain to Dubai Highway and head into the dunes just past the small community.
This cache was placed in a small 'forest' in the middle of the dunes while we were camping nearby. This is a favorite area of ours and one we've been wanting to put a cache in for awhile now. A perfect spot, near enough to the highway for easy access but far enough to be on your own in a quiet and peaceful location. Great for those groups who want to camp and practice their dune driving.
