"The cure for boredom is curiosity!" Just how curious are you? A great friend of mine, inspired me to make a cache almost everyone can achieve, instead of just a select few people! She said imagination is better then the real thing... I'm a very curious person, and I'm always looking for something a little more sophisticated are you?
My 8 year old son helped me with this interesting location. This is my first kid friendly cache :) compared to my "SELECT FEW CACHE SERIES" My neighbor who is 85 now, told me about this location, and remembers when he was a kid playing in this underground creation! This cache is not at the listed coordinates- The listed coordinates will bring you to a mysterious tunnel entrance, go inside if you dare! This will test just how curious a person you really are! It's up to you to wander inside this tunnel near Gary New Duluth. From the listed coordinates walk inside approx."9" Rods/portage +/- inches. The cache will be waiting for you inside, it's mysterious walls. This is a UV cache so if you have a shortwave/longwave UV light your in luck because it will stick out like a sore thumb. But if not, a regular flashlight will work just fine. Jr. and I hand placed this cache at night to get the full twilight effect, so hopefully you can do the same! There's a small notebook inside this cache, please feel free to write down, what your curious about, or what inspires you to live a better life, remain anonymous if you'd like. Keep everyone's curiosity going! FTF my signature coin an old buffalo nickel, and a polished Lake superior Agate. I guess my curious bone was itchy again. One week after this cache was published, I was wondering around and found another interesting tunnel its about a 5 min hike upstream from GZ. It has many small waterfalls and a cool little gourge near bye. Just pass through the 200+ tunnel, and go around the bend to your left. It's worth the 5 min hike-upstream from GZ! ---Now for some fun facts about the town of Gary New Duluth-Gary – New Duluth is a neighborhood in Duluth, Minnesota, United States. Although called Gary–New Duluth by most people in the area, and even identified by local traffic signs as being so named, they are two separate neighborhood communities. Commonwealth Avenue (State Highway 23) and Becks Road (County Road 3) serve as main arterial routes in the community. The neighborhood of Gary begins as one enters under the railroad bridge on Commonwealth Avenue and ends at Gary Builders Supply. Gary contains most of the business district of the two neighborhoods, such as the Little Store and Milk House areas. The neighborhood of New Duluth begins just past Gary Builders Supply, where an old railroad line once crossed Commonwealth Avenue and continues to the Boy Scout Landing at the very end of Commonwealth Avenue. This railroad track is still visible under the sign for Gary Builders Supply. The major tenants of New Duluth are the Minneapolis Electric Company's steel foundry and Stowe Elementary School. Both neighborhoods are historically linked to the once vast U.S. Steel plant of the Duluth Works which was once located outside of Gary and in between Morgan Park. Both neighborhoods experienced a major decline in business and population when the areas industries folded, although much of the ethnic heritage of the communities still thrives to this day. Sargent Creek flows through at the western edge of the neighborhood. It serves as a boundary line between Gary–New Duluth and the Fond du Lac neighborhood. The Oliver Bridge across the Saint Louis River and McCuen Street (MN 39) together connect the neighborhood of Gary–New Duluth with the nearby village of Oliver, Wisconsin. So what are you waiting for? Grab your play mate, and discover what makes you curious!
We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths"-Walt Disney- Life is like an adventure, you have to gain experience from it, by not experiencing the real world, there's no meaning to life. Life is like a game, if you dont play the game the right way, you end up playing it the hard way, enjoy your journey eveyone-Sk8erfamily
