Geocache Description:

One in a series of colorful caches along the Santiago Creek trail. Do NOT attempt after dark.

All the caches in this series share some similarities:
They are all hidden along the Santiago Creek Trail.
They all use the same basic container, so once you’ve found one you will know what you are looking for.
They are all magnetic (that may always be a helpful fact).

They are all also each a bit different from each other:
They are all different colors (for now)
and they are all hidden just a bit differently than their siblings.

This cache is near the baseball field used by Chapman University at W.O. Hart park. Baseball is a long tradition at Hart park, construction on Hart Park began in 1935. Before it was even completed, it became the home of the Orange Lionettes, a celebrated women's softball team organized in 1936 by the Orange Lions Club. Carl Schroeder, the team's first manager and coach is quoted: "I put the team together,... by going out and calling on young girls. My wife didn't much care for that."
