Geocache Description:

Magnetic micro that can be a p&g located close to the centre of Dungarvan.

The Bridge, which links the town of Dungarvan to Abbeyside is also known as the Causeway Bridge or sometimes, and very incorrectly, the Colligan Bridge (Colligan Bridge is located about 5 miles upriver, see the Bend in the River geocache). It was built by the 6th Duke of Devonshire, William George Spencer Cavendish (1790-1858). It is a narrow bridge that spans the fast flowing Colligan as it heads into the Bay. The cache is a magnetic micro, that contains only a logbook. You may need an implement to help take the logbook out. About 4 metres beyond gz, there is an unprotected drop into the river. Please take care here, as the current is strong. The cache is wheelchair friendly, providing there has not been a large amount of rain. The final 15 metres is on grass. Please return cache to the position you found it in, and have fun.
Congrats to Irlgoh and irlcgoh on your FTF!
