Geocache Description:


Summary
This cache is along a very scenic fire road trail, overlooking the entirety of Arroyo Verde Park, Ventura and maybe even the ocean if you're lucky.

Description
When I was in high school, I used to mountain bike in Arroyo Verde Park (which is no longer allowed). I loved exploring the park and, after discovering geocaching, searching for caches that were put there to show off the park.  

Now that I'm older and a bit slower, I prefer walking so when I moved into the Skyline neighborhood and found that there's a great fire road and walking trail overlooking Arroyo Verde Park and with no caches on it, I knew what had to be done. 

The trail that this cache is on can be accessed by a gate at either end of the adjacent fire road. The entry gates are marked as waypoints for convenience. I recommend walking the neighborhood as a loop starting at the bottom and caching as you go for a solid cache workout :)
