Geocache Description:

A great secret spot just off Nature Conservancy land in Pownal.

Hiked NW from my "Pownal's Hoosic View" cache to see if we could find the cliff face seen approaching this area from Petersburg, and indeed did !!! It's a big drop-off, even higher than the quarry on the Nature Conservancy land. So, I didn't put the cache too close to the edge, so no need to search there. It's close to the Conservancy boundary marker (cairn). Have fun, enjoy the views, and be careful !
