Harmony Cemetery Traditional Cache

James Bridger: MISCELLANEOUS RANT:

I boast that I own nearly a thousand geocache hides. Come to find out, it's been the other way around this whole time.

Someone painted April Fool in big black letters on a Dead End sign.

Would you rather get one shot in the head or five in the chest and bleed to death?

Held his heart in his hands, and ate of it.

You pay as you go. Sometimes all you have.

I'm going outside now. I may be gone for some time.

I am shutting down the machine. A container will remain at the following location for a while yet, until I retrieve it, so you may find it normally. If you wish, you may take the container. If you do so, please indicate such in your log. Likewise, as I recover the container, I will post that I have removed the container.

Thank you to all who "Veni. Vidi. Vici."

Geocache Description:

This is a public cemetery and you will have to enter to get the cache. There is room to park at the gate with a short walk over level terrain to ground zero. You can follow a path most of the way to ground zero and avoid walking on any graves, but it gets a little bushy at the end. Please close the gate behind you when you leave.

Just inside the entrance, to the east side, there is a white marker for an infant. Most of the infant markers I've seen have a lamb, angel, or a carving of Christ on them, but this one has a sock and one empty shoe atop it. The normalcy of these items seemed a stronger bereavement than the religious icons, for they denote a life cut short, and indicate an activity that this child will never enjoy again.

Please only hunt this cache during daylight hours, and if there are other visitors, save your search for another day. Respect the area and those interred here, CITO if needed, use stealth if warranted, rehide as you find it for the next cacher, and please post no hints or spoilers. Thank you and good luck.
