Take A Seat Traditional Cache

FrostyRebus: Thanks for the note Lorgadh. At present I am in Canada. I have been unable to go to Gala for one reason or another.

However I am just going to archive the cache, Normally I would blame muggles for the cache going missing but on this occasion it is down to geocachers not replacing the cache in the same position they found it. Cache was situated under seat out of view. When i went to replace log it was stuck on the rear of the seat in full view in a public thoroughfare. Is it any surprise that it goes missing. Warnings appear to have been ignored. Certainly not wasting time, money and effort for inconsiderate cachers. I have a round trip of 42 miles to maintain the cache. So, it is goodbye Take a seat

Bank Street Gardens, Galashiels

The gardens were gifted to Galashiels Town Council shortly after the Second World War.

 They were laid out in conformity with proposals put forward by Alfred T. Harrison, Superintendent of Parks with Edinburgh Corporation.
 
Today, the gardens play an important role in attracting visitors to the town and they are planted out twice each year with long, sweeping colourful displays set within the well maintained lawns.

As a young child I used to be down in Galashiels quite a lot, especially since my father was a keen fisherman. In the summer I can always remember the beautiful colours in this place. If you go in the summer, ENJOY
