Mlociny byly wzmiankowane juz w XIV wieku jako wies placaca dziesiecine kosciolowi w Zegrzu.
W 1913 r. z inicjatywy Warszawskiego Towarzystwa Higienicznego rozpoczeto prace nad koncepcja przemiany Mlocin w "Miasto-Ogrod". Byla to wypadkowa potrzeb utworzenia reprezentacyjnej dzielnicy oraz panujacej podowczas mody na tego typu zalozenia. Po zakupieniu rozleglych gruntow przystapiono do prac w trakcie ktorych powstaly liczne reprezentacyjne domy i wille.
Dzis po latach zapomnienia, czesc zabytkowych domow zostala odrestaurowana. Niestety, nie wszystkie budynki mialy tyle szczescia. Obok historycznych budowli wznosza sie nowoczesne domy oraz powstaja nowe luksusowe osiedla.

Młociny were mentioned as early as the fourteenth century as a village by paying tithes to the Church in Zegrze.
In 1913, at the initiative of the Warsaw Society of Hygiene work on the concept of transformation Mlociny into the "garden city" was initiated. It was a resultant of the needs of creation of the representative district and the fasion of such assumptions. When vast land was purchased, work began resulted in creation of numerous representative houses and villas.
Today, after years of oblivion, several historic houses was restored. Unfortunately, not all buildings were that lucky. Next to historical buildings new and modern houses as well as luxury housing are being build.
