Geocache Description:

The Twenty Fifth in the series of Quick Socials in Johannesburg (and surrounds). Lets celebrate the beginning of the caching calendar for 2013 with a true South African Bring and Braai.

We hope to see many new teams as well as our regular friends! Inspired by Wormgeocash's Quick Cuppa (QC) Events in Pretoria, Team_vdlo and GEO936 decided to host similar Events in and around Johannesburg throughout the year.

Called "Quick Social" or "QS" Events. These will be Kid Friendly, mostly on a Saturday and for just a few hours in the morning. This one is slightly different, and will be in the afternoon.

Over the last year, other cachers like macaddikt, Sonsoekster, Wildbirds and Fier have stepped in and helped with hosting Events as part of this series.

Date: Saturday, 12 January 2013

Time: from 2:00pm onwards

Place: ThomasfamilyZA and BrendsZA's back garden, follow your GPS

What: Bring and Braai
Bring whatever you want to put on the braai, whatever you want to drink, your camping chairs and picnic blanket, swimming costumes and yourselves for a fun in the sun start to the new year.
We will finalise details closer to the time to ensure that we have some salads and puddings.
