There are two trail heads that you can use to get to West Pinnacle. While you could technically use those trail heads for any of the pinnacles, the second, less used trail head is particularly nice to use for he western most pinnacle in the Indian Fort trail system.
The west pinnacle is a more tree covered overlook than some of the others, but is just as beautiful. The hike up is mostly level with two sharp inclines along the way from the main trail head.
