This cache is dedicated to the late actor, George Peppard, who played one of my childhood heroes, Colonel John "Hannibal" Smith in the TV series, The A-Team. George Peppard died in 1994 of pneumonia and is buried here alongside his parents, George Sr and Vernelle.
The A-Team was a series about a group of renegade commandos who were on the run from the military for crimes they did not commit in the Vietnam War. They collectively worked as soldiers of fortune, helping those who came to them with justified grievances.
Peppard portrayed Colonel John "Hannibal" Smith, who was the leader of the A-Team, and was known for his cigar smoking, confident smirk, disguises, black leather gloves, and his catch phrase, "I love it when a plan comes together".
